What do i need to join?

A Passion for History! We do our best to make this hobby as inexpensive and accessible as possible for newcomers, with a limited supply of loaner items available for use. Please come out to one of our events first and see what we’re all about before purchasing anything.

I Have to buy everything now?

No! We have some loaner items, so make sure to contact us and we will let you know what you have to provide in order to get you in your position as quickly as possible.

Is that a real ____ ?

Most likely, yes. For the most part we don’t have anything that isn’t real.

Are you hot in those clothes?

Sometimes. Chances are if you’re warm, so are we! With the natural fiber clothes we wear they are excessively breathable and surprisingly comfortable.

Do you sleep in those tents?

More often than not, we do! they also can be exceedingly comfortable or exceedingly historically accurate depending on member preferences.

If i join, can my children reenact too?

For the most part, yes! we don’t allow anyone under the age of 18 to carry a musket on the battlefield. but they can portray a civilian, or even a musician, should they be musically inclined.

How do you know when you’ve been hit?

There are many reasons to “take a hit”, sometimes if we’re recreating an actual battle we can coordinate when people go down. however more often its that we’ve ran out of ammunition, our muskets are malfunctioning, or a million other reasons.
