Northville Patriot’s day
April 25 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm
Free
Come witness a historical re-creation of one of the most fateful events in American history, the battles of Lexington and Concord.
After the battles in April of 1775, the ‘rebel’ side would call it a massacre, provoked by the British regulars firing the first shot.
The British side would counter with their own report saying that the rebels shot first.
There is no conclusive proof of who shot first but the rebels would carry the day, with the British casualties and losses numbering at about 20% of their total force, and the rebel forces pinning the British into Boston, which would lead to an 11 month seige.
